The prehistory of the exhibition-panopticon "480km" - when a huge physical archive of the independent scene was destroyed (without any chance of restoration) at the border of Russia and Ukraine in 2016 - gave rise to the digitization of this culture and creation of the next project.
This exhibition has become the calling card of the Sodaz-Caterpillar Syndicate. An incident that took place on the border between Russia and Ukraine in 2016 documented the emergence of a global educational project about self-publishing culture and the creative experiments of the unofficial scene of the two states. And it foreshadowed the tragic events of 2022, as well as the ensuing ideas of «cancel-culture» in Ukraine, as well as the death of independent thought in the aggressor country itself.
